What data is processed and for what purposes?

Visiting the website
The website is hosted by Amazon Web Service (AWS) in the EU. AWS stores so-called log files when the website is visited.

These include the visit (request), the IP address, browser type and language, and the date and time of your visit.

The information is used to analyze and maintain the technical operation of the servers and the network as well as to combat abuse and is automatically deleted after 7 days. The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of legitimate interest in improving stability and functionality. A transfer or other use of the data does not take place.

Pre-registration for tickets to the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg County Fair.

Your personal data from the form will be collected for the purpose of conducting the ticket draw. Tickets for the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg County Fair will be drawn from all pre-registrations received. If you win tickets, they will be sent to you by Email.

Your data will be deleted after the draw has been completed and the tickets have been sent.

Processing is carried out at their request in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.

How long will the data be stored?

Unless otherwise stated in the other information in this statement about specific processing operations, personal data is deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and no retention periods prevent its deletion.

Who are the recipients of data?

Unless previously mentioned, personal data will not be disclosed by us to third parties as a matter of principle. In particular, your data will not be passed on to third parties for their advertising purposes.

However, we may use service providers, such as the order processors already mentioned. Here it may happen that a service provider obtains knowledge of personal data.

What rights do you have?

You have the right to information about the personal data we process about you. Furthermore, you have a right to rectification or deletion or to restriction of processing, insofar as you are entitled to this by law.

And you have a right to object to processing within the scope of the law. The same applies to a right to data portability.

In particular, you have a right to object to the processing of your data in connection with direct marketing, pursuant to Article 21 (1) and (2) of the GDPR, if this is carried out on the basis of a balancing of interests.

Last but not least, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority responsible for data protection.
